Notice of Race - 2007

The Downriver Race (the final event in the 2007 Sabrina Trophy series) will be run by the Yare Sailing Club and start from Woods Dyke, Horning.

There will be a briefing at the Ferry Inn at 13.00 (approx) and entries should be submitted to
the OOD, Paul Carrington, beforehand. (Entry fee £3)

Yachts may start at any time between 13.30 and 14.30.

The finish will be in the river Thurne near Cold Harbour Farm. A turning mark will be laid between Upton and Thurne Mouth. This may be moved or omitted and/or a time limit imposed if conditions dictate. If so this will be announced at the briefing. The course may be shortened at any point.

The Autumn Trophy will be presented to the fastest yacht on handicap and the NBYC Cruiser Class Trophy to the first Norfolk Broads Yacht Club member on handicap that is not the overall winner.
This event has been designated for the Crystal Ball this year by last year's winners - Zephyr.

Please note that these instructions, including the course and finish, may be amended by the OOD before the start.

Overnight moorings may/will be available at Hunter's Yard, and Womack Staithe if there is room.

Prizes will be presented at Womack Staithe after the race (5pm approx).
